Tabby Camp: 4-day trip to Armenia for a unicorn company

This event had many objectives. First of all, assemble a distributed international team offline. There was a request to go to the mountains together, and we chose Armenia for this.
It was also important for us to combine the business agenda and entertainment. The company was about to achieve a unicorn status, so we also had to convey important news to the team.
Tabby Camp was very eventful and detailed. 4 days of an active program, which included a sports tournament, a business game, a film festival, a disco, a trip, talks about business, songs around the fire, and coaching.
We came up with our own team game Tabby Galaxy, and it was based on a reflection technique: we let the teams interact and pay attention to the challenges and advantages in their work. The first task was creative: draw your planet in the Tabby Galaxy, come up with its inhabitants, a flag, the name of the planet and say what you are responsible for on it. The second task was to work through the challenges and achievements of your team.
We ended up with a galaxy of 8 unique planets and a lot of insights within each team. Later, we transferred them to the Miro board so that employees could refer to them and work on insights from the inside.
We made original merch for the team, but also gave all participants the opportunity to give a handmade gift to their colleagues and called it Secret Buddy. This was our table with beads, letters and postcards, many different materials could be used to make a cute necklace or bracelet. At first we wanted the gifts to be secret, but the guys liked the idea so much that there was no secrecy left and they made as many gifts as they could, given our busy program.
It is impossible to visit Armenia and talk only about work, and what for? Not only did we take the cable car up the mountains, but also organized our own film festival on the last day of Camp and held it at a real winery. Films about Tabby's values were shown and filmed by employees over four days. It was a wow effect: each film not only reflected one of the company’s values, but also showed its manifestation in practice.
The first time we did an event with Tabby in 2021, there were 60 guests from the team. In September 2023, already 220 employees from different countries gathered in the mountains of Armenia to spend 4 fantastic days together, improve their business skills and become one big dream camp where nothing is impossible. Yes, this is Tabby Camp.
